The most important person.. yet forgotten

It was only a few weeks ago that I just realised that we have forgotten all about finding a JP (Justice of Peace) for our ROM. I couldn't believe that we can even forget about such an important person!

That started my online search for the suitable candidate, which lead me to Mrs Chia Swee Tin. She was my sister's JP 2 years ago. It wasn't easy trying to contact her as she was out of town. When she finally returned my call, I was told that it is still early as our ROM is in June and she can't confirm till 2 mths before the date.

Since she sounded so nice over the phone, I just took what she said. Now we'll just have to patiently wait till 21st April to book her. (As mentioned in many wedding forums, popular JPs need to be booked early before they are snapped up by the rest.) Actually Mrs Chia has another ROM to go to before my timing, so we'll have to try to close up the time gap so that she won't have to linger around while waiting for our ceremony to begin.

No matter what, I'm still glad that at least I've almost settled the JP. Now for Mark to settle the photographer for the day. Anyone has contacts? Although we don't have a big budget for that, but quality cannot be compromised too much...there's only 1 chance to capture our big day so I'm quite particular about the photographer =)

Requirements:
1) Experienced in wedding photography
2) Has a portfolio to show
3) Hopefully won't burst our budget
