More pics from Hokkaido!

Here's some interesting shots that were not in the slide show...

I'm really impressed by Japan's high standards of hygiene. Their public toilets are really mostly clean and free of stench. What we love is the butt and ass**** washing device attached to most of the toilets that we go to. You can adjust the strength, temperature, angle etc. Damn cool!

The Japanese's polite culture is also reflected in the fake flushing sound device on the top left corner to mask any 'sounds' you make in the cubicle!

Check out the language used in the toilet. I was laughing my ass out while sitting on the toilet seat =)

Don't you just love their vending machines? They just have everything from hot snacks to cigarettes and we even saw a machine that churns out travel insurance!

Imagine this hairy crab staring at you and daring you to eat him... Took me quite a long time to get over the scary look of it and tuck into it's sweet and firm flesh =0) *YUM YUM*
This meal took us around 2hours to complete as it was a real huge chore trying to eat this crab.

The highlight of this trip was the 5000Yen Wagyu beef which is equivalent to approximately S$65 which was shared between the 2 of us. It was so well prepared that it retained a mouth-watering grilled taste and the doneness was exactly what we asked for.

There was a choice of either 5000Yen or 8000Yen Wagyu beef/ 5000Yen or 8000Yen 'Dancing' Abalone. Some of the rich people in our tour group ordered one of the most expensive dishes each. Scary...

Postcards, anyone?

Obscene boxers for the adventurous.

We came across this origami museum at the Narita Airport and were amazed by the things that can be made from paper! There's even a paper crane so small that they provided a magnifying glass for you to see it.

Our prized buys of the trip! My very first Burberry Blue Label and a Coach Bag. While for Marky, it is his revolving dragon musical dome with neon lights, his samurai figurines (No pic yet), Gundam figurine (No pic yet) and a wooden sword (No pic yet) which attracted the stares of everyone at the airport...
