Wedding Photoshoot on 3th December 2008

I'm so glad that the photo shoot was over. It was both fun and tiring at the same time..But we were very lucky as we weren't hit by the rain during the outdoor shoot although it rained quite heavily before that =)

Looking at Meibao's pictures, I think the overall effect was pretty what I wanted. The only grouse I have is the fact that my mermaid gown was not flattering at all..the tapes didn't get the hard material to stick to my body..Made it so exposed! Furthermore, the design made it so difficult to sit or lie down and when I sit down, the corset part stuck out like a sore thumb...Zzzzz just hope that our photographer, Henry, can do magic to the pics.

Talking about Henry, our Malaysian photographer, Bao had lots of complaints against him due to his way of humouring us...Bao feels that he's insulting us by saying that we shouldn't pout our lips so much that we look like pigs when we kiss.. But then again..we're okay with that as he's just trying to make us laugh so that we can relax.

Our indoor photoshoot started at 9am when we were both still tired and sleepy. I had 3 outfits and 3 different hairdos for those..that's why the indoor shoot lasted till 3plus. The fun part was going to the backlanes and roads to shoot the cheongsam outfit. Everyone was staring and standing around to watch us take the photo shoot as if we're stars..lol

For our outdoor photo shoot, we went to this long row of beautiful shophouses which I have no idea where. We had to take photos discretely outside people's houses and we even get to pose with other people's scooter! It was pretty fun there but at the same time, Mark and I were perspiring like mad there.

Next, we went to the Hort Park and boy is is nice there. I had a pleasant surprise when I saw a beautiful black spiral staircase there. If you don't know, I have been bugging Mark to find a spiral staircase to take our photo shoot and we gave up in the end as we didn't know where to find. Anyway, I just lurrve the pics taken at the stairs!!

Our final destination was at Alexandra Park or something close to it. There was the famous swing without a seat and the tree stump that my NIE friend, Kelvin & Samantha took a sweeet photo at. Our theme revolves around a picnic as food was something shared between us (as can be seen from our size..lol). I got my dad to buy some red heart-shaped balloons to create a contrast. The funny thing was that Pearl thought that the red balloon idea came from my room's wall mural..but seriously, that didn't cross my mind..lol

Enough of talk, here's some pics that I've taken from Bao's over 400 pictures + the few pics that Pei took with my camera. I've photoshopped the lighting and contrasts to beautify them further.

Lastly, thanks to Bao, Pei and my parents for shuffling here and there with us on Wednesday. Love you all!
