Blame it on our ignorance and initial half-heartedness that got us viewing the new DBSS @ Simei - Parc Lumiere after my tuition lessons and even a late lunch. In the end, there was only space in the reserved list (600+ applicants for 360 flats). The furnishing of the show rooms really looked like condos and despite the flats being quite small, I think they are just right for 2 people. The best part was that even the 4 room flats have their own balconies! I just loooooove to have balconies...
But sadly, we were too late. Furthermore, I know that my in-laws have wishes for us to stay really near to them (preferably the next block) so that they can take care of us (and our future kids) as they know we will usually be quite busy with our work. I totally appreciate their thoughtfulness and kindness towards us, but...my balcony...sob sob...
