Our hotel viewing trip was made the day after my exams and we rented a car for the first time to drive around. How exciting! (There were dangerous moments too..lol)
Below are the ones we visited:
Our verdict:
The interior of the hotel is tastefully designed and there is a large area for the reception.
The prices are really very competitive. They offer one of the lowest for hotels.
However, the building looks old and unappealing + the ballroom is just so-so.

The weird thing about Novotel is that the hotel ballroom is on the 5th level and its lobby is on the 7th level...
The hotel is very convenient and quite nicely done up. There were also good reviews on the quality of the food and services.
However, the ballroom is too small and plus the fact that it is made up of a few function rooms combined into 1, pillars are inevitable.

Marky loved the lights on the ceiling as there can be running lights to match his 'inner ah beng' self.
Our verdict:
Their service sux big time...Marky called them to arrange a time for us to view the hotel and as the person-in-charge wasn't around, Marky left his number for the guy to call back.
But there were no calls till the next day and when Marky called back, the person wasn't even apologetic about not returning his call. This was followed by not offering an alternative date when he can't make it to show us around on the day that we wanted.
Despite this, I still insisted on going there to look around...

The hotel decor is done up in a modernly fashion. I just love the feel of being there. All the unhappiness vanished immediately when we went to the pool area. OMG...I was totally mesmerised by the place!

We'll be viewing Amara Hotel next...Stay tune!
