Initially, I was still thinking that the idea of getting a Made-to-Measure (MTM) ROM dress is a good idea as I can have whatever design I like and not look "off-the-rack"...But choosing a design is a killer especially when I don't have the height and size of a model =(
So off I went to Di Gio before my exams to give my designer an idea of what I want and the fabrics I want him to work with...
And this was what he sketched for me...It really looked very good on the paper but I had some reservations about how I'll look in it...He finally persuaded me about the dress and I agreed to it.

However, after showing to some friends and getting comments that reflected my initial worries, I made up my mind to change to something 'safer' instead. The thought of having to pay extra to alter the dress if it doesn't turn out to be suitable for me, really made me think twice about trying something new.
Finally, I sketched a totally amateur design for my gown and based on the idea, my designer re-sketched a new dress for me. But I forgot to take a pic of his sketch..lol So here's my sketch instead. The design should be more or less the same except for the embellishment part and some details on the cloth. **Not to mention a more professional sketching.
